Power & Water Outages
As Tamarindo is a tropical coastal town, occasional power/water interruptions may happen. These situations are temporary and usually short-lived. Thank you for your understanding and patience — it is all part of the local charm.
Water Safe To Drink
Tap water is safe to drink in Costa Rica. At The Patio, we go even further to ensure excellent water quality: our system is equipped with UV lamps, filters, and a water softener. This allows us to provide clean, safe, and pleasant water throughout your stay.

Delivery service is available from El Patio for approximately 3500 colones per kilo.
Insects
We do our best to keep your room insect free. However, they are clever; and sometimes, find a way into your room. If you see them, there is insecticide under the sink in the kitchen.
Safe Deposit Box
For your peace of mind, a safe is available in your closet. It operates with a key and is ideal for storing your valuables. While we do our best to ensure a safe and comfortable stay, we kindly recommend using the safe for important items, as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft.
